Educare Teacher- Preschool

About the Role

Playworks is seeking a strong, experienced Educare Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role provides care, supervision, and developmental support while planning and implementing organized activities, smooth transitions, and developmentally appropriate curriculum across all learning domains. The Educare Teacher mentors and trains staff on teaching strategies, behavior guidance, and classroom management, while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging environment. This position also leads clear communication with families, conducts family conferences, supports child transitions, and partners with management on individual child needs and behavior concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervises children while providing care and support to children.
• Responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities, specialized programs, and redirection of children.
• Promotes positive child interactions.
• Organized activities and smooth transitions are planned and implemented.
• Trains and ensures employees are providing quality transitions.
