EDM Operator- Second Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor EDM machines under supervision
• Set up workpieces and tooling as instructed
• Read and follow basic blueprints and work instructions
• Perform routine inspections using measuring tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Absorb and assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Meet production and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school or machining coursework preferred (not required)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Physical And Work Environment Requirements

• Based in a manufacturing environment
• May require standing, walking, sitting, squatting, kneeling, and rising for extended periods
• May involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds
• May involve viewing a computer or other digital screen, working on a computer, workstation, or comparable system, and making accurate entries in such systems
• May require manual dexterity and fine motor skills for detailed assembly and precision work
• May take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas at all times as required by company policy
