EDM MACHINE OPERATOR - 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT

Responsibilities

Essential duties and tasks include operation of Fast Hole EDM CNC machine cutting cooling holes for engine parts, setting up and operating machines, loading/unloading parts, and communicating changes and results. The operator will demonstrate the ability to read prints, inspect parts using precision gages, and verify conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications. Good mechanical aptitude and some "shop math" is required.

• Set-up and operate Fast Hole EDM CNC machine

• Maintain specifications, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot processes

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required. Previous non-conventional machining experience is preferred but not required. The candidate should have basic mechanical skills and manufacturing experience is a plus. Must meet the definition of a "U.S. person" under ITAR, as set forth in 22 C.F.R.120.62.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have exceptional time management and organization skills, ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time, and good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Physical conditions include a fast-paced and focused environment, lifting, pushing, and/or pulling 25 pounds, standing at least 95% of scheduled shift, and routinely performing reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping.

Pay

Compensation is $20-$25/hourly starting, based on experience and candidate capability.

Schedule

1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am. **2nd shift offers a generous shift differential**. Overtime may be required as needed on both or either shift(s).
