About the role
The Editorial Services Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Brand & Communications team. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of editing and writing projects, collaborating with the Brand & Communications department on tight-deadline assignments to develop content for internal and external audiences. The role is located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles and may be eligible for a flexible hybrid working schedule.
Responsibilities
- Gather information, edit, write, and coordinate the development of awards nominations, survey responses, and other rankings and accolades submissions.
- Edit copy to publicize awards and rankings on a range of internal and external channels.
- Draft and edit post-event summaries and related conference and seminar marketing materials.
- Communicate edits and suggestions to lawyers and staff around the globe.
- Generate new ideas for producing creative and compelling content for target audiences.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in communications, journalism, and/or public relations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of core business writing principles, including external and internal communications, branding, tone of voice, and competitive intelligence.
- Well-developed, professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- Excellent language skills, including reading, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.

Pay
USD $75,000.00 – USD $90,000.00 per year.
