Aangan Editorial Internship
The Aangan Editorial Internship is a program for college students focusing on topics related to South Asian art, culture, history, and current events. The program is designed to give interns the opportunity to:
- research, write, and publish a series of articles relevant to their areas of study
- produce high-quality content for a South Asian arts publication
- attend and review select arts-related events in their area
- network with other academics in the field
Marketing Internship
Aangan is hiring marketing interns to help develop content, conduct market research, and contribute to strategy under the supervision of our marketing manager. Responsibilities will include:
- building a database of organizations, contacts, grants, and partnerships
- producing high-quality, creative content for social media
- developing compelling sales materials
- researching and suggesting innovative, powerful marketing strategies
Associate Program Director
This is a 16-week position with a commitment of approximately 3 hours/week, and potential for renewal upon completion of contract. Responsibilities will include:
- booking venues
- building strategic partnerships and securing sponsorships
- event planning and management
- booking and managing event volunteers/staff
- communications with presenting artists and academics
Marketing Manager
This is a 16-week position with a commitment of approximately 2 hours/week plus an additional 30-minute meeting twice a month, with potential for renewal upon completion of contract. Responsibilities will include:
- creating monthly mailers
- designing event flyers
- delivering social media content based on agreed-upon plan
- maintaining social media calendar and sending reminders regarding posting and follow-up
- creating graphics and design for sales materials
