About the role

The Editorial Assistant for STEM and Economics supports the Content Developers and Content Managers on the STEM and Economics team. This role involves administrative and editorial support, market research, developmental reviews, and content development.

Responsibilities

  • Support content team with market research, developmental reviews, and surveys using key systems.
  • Assist in editorial development including manuscript preparation and assembly; evaluate content for different specifications; support content management of media and assessment in key systems.
  • Provide permissions-related work using key systems.
  • Assist in the development of content components.
  • Perform administrative tasks including running reports, processing and tracking contracts and payments, maintaining schedules and logs, and updating data in systems.
  • Offer support for miscellaneous needs or tasks that arise in the day-to-day work of the full content team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clarity in conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, and high-quality outputs.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze content, diagnose problems, and create practical solutions.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality educational products and solutions.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented approach, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and processes, navigating and supporting change effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a deadline-driven job with deliverables.
  • Customer outreach or customer service experience.
  • Experience with tutoring or teaching.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, generate insights, and support content creation, research, or decision-making.
