Editor
About the role
We're looking for an Editor who knows how to make people stop scrolling. We need someone who understands modern content—pacing, story, timing, and emotion. You'll cut everything from 30-second spots to six-second social ads, internal films, and branded content, ensuring every frame earns its place. This is a collaborative role where you'll work alongside creatives, producers, strategists, designers, copywriters, and account teams to create work for national and regional brands.
Responsibilities
- Edit compelling video content across social, broadcast, internal communications, and agency marketing.
- Create motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects.
- Color correct, mix audio, finish projects, and refine details that elevate good work to great.
- Collaborate with producers, creatives, designers, copywriters, and account teams from kickoff through delivery.
- Manage multiple projects without compromising quality.
- Organize footage, project files, and assets for seamless team access.
- Use AI-powered creative tools and emerging workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.
- Adapt your editing style to fit different brands, audiences, and platforms.
Requirements
- Professional experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and confidence working in After Effects.
- Expertise in motion graphics, animation, audio, color, finishing, and all aspects of polishing a rough cut.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining organization and collaboration.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling across social, digital, and broadcast work (agency experience is a plus).
- Embrace AI as a creative tool, not a replacement for creative thinking.
- Naturally curious and always creating—whether through passion projects, documentaries, YouTube videos, AI filmmaking, or other outlets.
Skills
- Strong storytelling with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and sound design.
- Ability to switch seamlessly between broadcast spots and social media edits (e.g., TikTok).
- Ownership of projects from first cut to final export.
- Commitment to delivering your best work, regardless of budget or runtime.
- Continuous learning of new tools and techniques.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position based in Greenville, SC. You'll work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. While most work occurs during normal business hours, occasional evenings or weekends may be required to meet production schedules and client deadlines.
