About the Role

The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa, a AAA Four-Diamond property known for understated elegance and southern charm, seeks a host to ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls.
• Greet and seat guests.
• Control heavy volume at the restaurant entrance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel property.
• Inform guests about buffets.
• Attend to and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials.
• Assist servers in providing efficient and quality service to guests.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a host in a similar dining atmosphere preferred.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Able to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
