About Us

At Brewer Attorneys & Counselors, high stakes litigation is what we do. Because we limit our practice to cutting-edge legal issues, bet-the-business commercial disputes and community impact cases, the firm is organized to win – every assignment, in every forum, all the time. Achieving that level of success drives our organization’s structure, our recruiting goals and culture.

About the Role

We are seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to join our New York office. This is a full-time, in-office position. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Relativity and will support the firm’s litigation teams by managing eDiscovery platforms, processing data, preparing productions, and assisting with trial support. This role is execution-focused and requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and case teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day tasks within litigation support and eDiscovery platforms, including database creation, data loading, searching, and exporting.
  • Process and publish electronically stored information (ESI) for active matters.
  • Assist with preparing documents, demonstratives, and exhibits for hearings and trial, including setup and operation of equipment.
  • Receive, log, and track incoming media and maintain chain of custody documentation.
  • Participate in internal process development and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within eDiscovery platforms and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners, Associates, Case Managers, and Legal Assistants.
  • Work overtime as needed based on case demands.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, or legal technology.
  • Law firm or vendor experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Relativity, including administrative-level functionality.
  • Solid understanding of the litigation lifecycle and eDiscovery and document review processes.
  • Experience with text editing tools such as UltraEdit or TextPad.
  • Experience handling data transfers and using encryption tools such as BitLocker.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro including bookmarking, document merging and splitting, and OCR.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SQL for data manipulation and parsing is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new eDiscovery platforms quickly.
  • Self-motivated and eager to grow within the Litigation Support team.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $110,000–$130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
