Responsibilities
- Build profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships within Edifecs Connect to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and workflows
- Develop and maintain EDI transaction sets including 837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize EDI processes and workflows
- Document technical specifications and procedures
- Support testing and validation of EDI transactions and integrations
- Aid in the implementation of new healthcare transaction standards and updates
Requirements
- Strong experience with EDI X12 healthcare transactions (837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Edifecs, including Spec Builder, Transaction Manager (TM), XEServer, xes-manager
- Experience building profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships
- Experience connecting to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication skills
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Clearance: This role requires an active Public Trust clearance.
- Work Arrangement: This is a remote position.
Desired Skills
- Functional knowledge of healthcare transactions and workflows
- Experience with scripting (Groovy, Java, or similar)
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, etc.)
- Familiarity with automated testing tools
