Edifecs/X12 EDI Developer

Responsibilities

• Build profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships within Edifecs Connect to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and workflows
• Develop and maintain EDI transaction sets including 837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize EDI processes and workflows
• Document technical specifications and procedures
• Support testing and validation of EDI transactions and integrations
• Aid in the implementation of new healthcare transaction standards and updates

Requirements

• Strong experience with EDI X12 healthcare transactions (837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Edifecs, including Spec Builder, Transaction Manager (TM), XEServer, xes-manager
• Experience building profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships
• Experience connecting to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Solid communication skills

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Clearance: This role requires an active Public Trust clearance.
• Work Arrangement: This is a remote position.

Desired Skills

• Functional knowledge of healthcare transactions and workflows
• Experience with scripting (Groovy, Java, or similar)
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, etc.)
• Familiarity with automated testing tools
