Edifecs Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot healthcare transactions including 837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc., using Edifecs tools
• Build profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships within EdifecConnect to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
• Support the configuration and maintenance of Edifecs Spec Builder, Transaction Manager, XEServer, and xes-manager
• Examine and resolve issues related to healthcare transactions and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and compliance

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Edifecs, including Spec Builder, Transaction Manager, XEServer, and xes-manager
• Strong experience with EDI X12 healthcare transactions (837, 835, 277CA, 278, 270/271, etc.)
• Experience building profiles, routes, and trading partner relationships
• Experience connecting to endpoints such as HTTP/S, SFTP, file systems, databases, and queues
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge of healthcare transactions and workflows
• Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy or Java
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Jira)
• Experience with automated testing tools

Pay

Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00

About the Role

Blu Omega is seeking two Edifecs Developers to support enterprise IT operations for a large-scale government environment. The position operates remotely and is responsible for healthcare transaction development and support within a mission-driven environment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and/or eligibility to obtain public trust clearance required
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
