EDI Consultant

About the role

The EDI Consultant ensures the stability of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes within the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator environment, enabling seamless and accurate data exchange between the organization and its trading partners through the IBM Value-Added Network (VAN).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, testing, and setup of EDI transactions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator under the direction of current EDI team members.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and data integration.
• Work sporadically with internal customers and trading partners to ensure EDI standards and requirement compliance.
• Ensure the accurate and timely exchange of data between the company and its trading partners via the IBM VAN.
• Manage project tasks and timelines effectively.
• Lead the development and maintenance of detailed records of EDI transactions, configurations, and any changes made to the system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations, standards, and security policies.
