EDI Business Analyst – Healthcare Enrollment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EDI Business Analyst with strong healthcare enrollment and EDI 834 expertise. This operations-focused role involves requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, EDI monitoring, issue resolution, and business process support.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand needs and resolve issues.
• Monitor and support EDI transactions, particularly 834 enrollment transactions.
• Investigate enrollment/EDI issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution.
• Support UAT, testing, defect tracking, and validation of solutions.
• Prepare business requirements, process documentation, and other functional documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and provide clear communication throughout issue resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• 2-3+ years of EDI experience.
• Mandatory: EDI 834 / Healthcare Enrollment experience.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with UAT, issue analysis, and defect resolution.
• Healthcare/health insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
