EDI Architect
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and support B2Bi, web, and mainframe applications.
- Translate business capability requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Provide development and operational support for EDI solutions and related applications.
- Demonstrate expertise in one or more technical environments, including software packages, programming languages, databases, and operating systems.
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of solutions across environments and trading partner integrations.
- Cookordination with cross-functional teams, including application and infrastructure teams.
- Perform system tuning, diagnostics, and performance analysis on UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.
- Support enterprise application integration and middleware-related initiatives.
- Create and interpret architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, and network communication designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 6–10 years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience in solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management environments, including system development, business intelligence, business processes, and customer relations.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise application integration, middleware, or related integration technologies.
- 5+ years of experience working with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, network connectivity, and communication protocols.
- Proficiency with EDI mapping tools.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
- Experience with SQL Server, UNIX, Linux, Windows, and MQ Series.
- Experience with network protocols and standards.
- Experience with Session Initiation Protocols (SIP).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with web applications and mainframe systems.
- Experience supporting mainframe environments.
