EDI Architect

About the role
This role is a hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite required. The hiring manager is specifically seeking an EDI Architect.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for application design, installation, configuration, and development support activities for B2Bi applications, web applications, and mainframe applications.
- Demonstrate a strong level of expertise in one or more technical environments, including software packages, programming languages, databases, and operating systems.
- Maintain a solid knowledge of EDI solutions.
- Own the quality of solutions across each environment and for each trading partner.
- Coordinate with related workstreams and teams, including infrastructure teams, Ford Customer Service Division, and manufacturing teams.
- Perform systems tuning and diagnostics across UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.
- 5+ years of experience across a wide range of supply chain management business areas, including system development, business intelligence, business processes, and customer relations.
- 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration, middleware, and other integration technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, network connectivity, and communication protocols.
- Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, UNIX, Linux, SQL Server, MQ Series, and Mainframe Systems.
- 6–10 years of overall IT experience with a focus on Solution Architecture, Unix, network protocols & standards, Session Initiation Protocols, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with web applications and mainframe applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Senior Associate level with 6–10 years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of focused experience in Solution Architecture, Unix, network protocols & standards, Session Initiation Protocols, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Full architectural and integration expertise, not just EDI mapping or conversion experience.
