About the role

• Enrolls users for transaction submissions and verifies receipt of electronic transmissions.
• Assists EDI technical staff with Beta testing for system changes as needed.
• Assists providers, trading partners, and billing agents with electronic 5010 X12 HIPAA batches and real-time transactions.
• Provides technical assistance to users experiencing transmission difficulties.
• Reviews and processes Billing Intermediary and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) enrollment applications according to Medi-Cal Dental-approved enrollment guidelines and other federal requirements.
• Works with both Gainwell Technologies and State liaison to provide EDI/EFT/Billing Intermediary support such as testing, project, reporting, and technical assistance.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Healthcare EDI.
• Excellent attendance, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Direct interaction with California Medi-Cal Dental Providers including email and phone conversations.
• Ability to process reports for EDI and provide excellent customer service on calls.
• Ability to meet deadlines, maintain a positive attitude, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
• Must be a resident of the state of California.
• Must be available to work from home and in office/on site as per business needs.

The office is located in the Roseville/Sacramento area. Initial 90-120 days require onsite work with the possibility of hybrid thereafter, based on overall performance.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37,500.00 - $53,500.00 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
