Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the edge guard table edge finishing system, including loading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct quality control inspections of materials produced by this process.
• Maintain production rates to meet or exceed established targets.
• Keep accurate records related to production and quality metrics.
• Operate other wood fabricating equipment and assist with projects as directed by management.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting within the department to minimize downtime.
• Monitor for defects and ensure product quality standards are maintained.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with wood finishing or fabrication equipment is preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.
