In this role, you will partner with engineering leaders, architects, software developers, physical design engineers, and product teams to manage complex technical programs supporting the development of next-generation FPGA technologies and design automation solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical program management expertise with an understanding of semiconductor development processes, EDA tools, and hardware/software development lifecycles. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, along with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization and proactively remove obstacles that impact execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technical programs supporting EDA Physical Design and semiconductor development initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Drive cross-functional program execution across Physical Design, CAD/EDA, Software Engineering, Architecture, Verification, Validation, and Product Engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans across multiple engineering organizations.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define program scope, priorities, resource requirements, and execution strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Track program health through metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting, providing visibility into schedules, risks, dependencies, and critical milestones.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to identify program risks, resolve execution challenges, and remove roadblocks that impact engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate planning activities across multiple product teams while balancing technical priorities, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization.
  • Lead program reviews with engineering leadership and executives, providing transparency into project status, financial considerations, risks, and execution progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define program requirements, identify interdependencies, and ensure successful delivery of strategic engineering initiatives.
  • Apply technical understanding of semiconductor development workflows to support engineering teams in troubleshooting execution challenges and driving successful outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvements in program management methodologies, processes, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
  • Mentor project teams and promote program management best practices throughout the engineering organization.
  • Foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful program execution.
