ED Technician

About the role

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated ED Technician for Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. Located on Route 9 in Lakewood, Monmouth South is a fully accredited acute care hospital serving the residents of Ocean and Monmouth counties.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as ordered, and assists physicians and nursing staff with procedures.
• Provides for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Graduate of a Patient Care program preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.
