About the role
The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN.

Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification/experience.
- One of the following certifications:
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Registered Medical Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1 year of experience preferred (no experience required).

Pay
Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $23.13 per hour, depending on experience.
