ED Tech - Main ED - Part Time

About the role

Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus. Department: Emergency Department - Main Campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in completion of patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient’s developmental levels.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Accept delegated tasks, ask questions, and report patient information as indicated.
• Handle patient information appropriately, maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Comply with the safety management program to provide a hazard‑free physical environment and reduce injury risk.
• Be knowledgeable about and responsive to the mission of the hospital.
• Promote a patient‑ and family‑experience‑oriented environment and act as a change agent to meet rapidly changing census and needs of internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Current CPR‑BLS certificate (must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire).

Schedule

Part‑time, 24 hours per week.
