About the role
Saint Clare's Health, part of the Prime Healthcare network, is seeking a Technician to support the Emergency Department. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helping maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients.
- Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current EMT Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), if required by the State.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
