ED Team Coordinator 1, Emergency Department, FT, 7A-7:30P

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems.
• Effectively communicates and facilitates all departmental orders and results to ED staff.
• Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel.
• Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification.
• Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner preferred.
• Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, peer respect, critical thinking skills, self-motivated, customer service skills and/or orientation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances and ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• High School, GED, Cert, Trn, Exper.
• BLS certification obtained within 6 months for employees hired prior to 4/30/2023.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.30 / hour depending on experience.
