ED Specialty Technician, ED - South

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School or equivalent.
• Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience required.
• Required Licenses/Certifications:
  • Hospital-based training program.
  • CPR prior to orientation completion.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within 3 months of hire date (effective January, 2019).
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Communication skills and behaviors conducive to high-stress situations with patients, families and visitors.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to adapt approach to patients of all ages and personnel of all disciplines.
  • Professional maturity and accountability.
  • Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
  • Handle confidential information.

• Employees hired in 2018 must obtain CNA by 2019, year-end.
• Employees hired prior to 2018 are exempt from CNA requirement.
