About the role

The ED Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in the Emergency Department. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients in the Emergency Department
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology
