About the role
Nursing Supervisor - 36hr Rotating - BWH Emergency Department
Responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical resource person on patient care and services
- Ensure appropriate intervention is demonstrated in all situations
- Collaborate throughout off-shift with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical services
- Notify Administrator-On-Call of serious issues, incidents, and internal and external disasters
- Supervise patient care through verification of the use of the nursing process
- Conduct rounds of all patient care areas and define expectations for accurate reporting
- Work independently and provide guidance, mentorship, and education to others
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Licenses and Credentials: Massachusetts Registered Nurse required, ACLS/BLS Required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of Emergency Department nursing experience required. Demonstrated experience in operations leadership, including staffing, throughput, resource management.

$118,435.20 - $172,234.40/Annual
