About the role

Responsibilities
The role involves various responsibilities, including:
- Answering admission questions and assisting the Director with the admissions process
- Serving as the first point of contact for students concerning course rotations, registration, and program plans
- Assisting with student support and connecting students to department and university resources
- Developing and implementing program procedures and processes
- Maintaining electronic databases and Formstack Forms
- Auditing active/inactive students and sending communications and procedures to students and faculty
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A college degree (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office software, Google Suite applications, Zoom, and Canva
- Thorough knowledge of office practices and equipment
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work with a variety of people and prioritize competing demands
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Work Environment
The role is based at the Historic Gainesville Campus in Gainesville, Georgia, and requires a minimum of 37.5 hours of work per week, with some evenings and weekends as needed. The work environment is sedentary, with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

Pay
The role is hourly, non-exempt, and paid bi-weekly.
Schedule
The role is full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility to meet the needs of the department.
