About the role
The ED Crisis Clinician is a licensed mental health professional who provides essential front-line support within the Emergency Department at Regions Hospital. Working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment, the clinician delivers immediate crisis assessment, intervention, and short-term therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing mental health emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
- Formulate individualized intervention and referral plans
- Determine appropriate levels of care
- Deliver services through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered lens
- Serve as a key resource to the interdisciplinary team, offering consultation on the psychosocial dimensions of patient care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health profession
- 2 or more years of clinical experience in mental health setting
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)- MN Board of Social Work OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)- MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)- MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy OR Licensed Psychologist (LP)- MN Board of Psychology
