Economist | $70/hr Remote

Position: US Macroeconomist Type: Freelance / Contract Compensation: $50 - $70/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Analyze and interpret US macroeconomic indicators, including GDP, inflation, and employment.Evaluate economic data published by the Bureau of Economic Analysis and Bureau of Labor Statistics.Work with historical economic datasets and data vintages, including ALFRED.Analyze US Treasury yield curves, interest rate movements, and monetary policy expectations.Interpret Federal Reserve communications, including FOMC statements and meeting minutes. Requirements Professional experience in macroeconomic research, economic strategy, or monetary policy.Strong understanding of US economic indicators and Federal Reserve policy.Familiarity with BEA/BLS economic releases and Treasury yield curve analysis.Experience working with economic datasets and historical data revisions.Strong analytical and research skills.
