Economics Associate (Part-time) Instructor Pool 2026 - 2027
Job Responsibilities
Provides leadership for the expanding credit welding program at Central Carolina; program manager will provide classroom instruction in arc welding, inert gas welding, gas metal arc welding, fabrication welding, and qualification welding in both the lecture and lab settings.
Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the various metals including aluminum, bronze, iron, and steel; be able to teach techniques in inert gas, oxyacetylene, electric arc welding, and plasma arc cutting; develop curriculum, work with business and industry; must be willing to teach day or evening classes at Main Campus; maintain program enrollment through active recruitment activities; complete some administrative duties as program manager.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Certificate, diploma, or Associate's Degree in Welding, Industrial Technology, or other closely related certification
- Relevant work experience and standard welding certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Pipe Welding Certification, TIG and stick, 6G position carbon and stainless steel, CWI
