About the role

The College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Economics courses including Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Personal Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver course instruction
• Follow common course outlines and policies
• Utilize the CCBC learning management system
• Grade, critique, and evaluate student work
• Provide timely feedback to students
• Keep and submit accurate classroom records
• Communicate with the discipline coordinator
• Attend required training sessions
• Attend professional development and departmental meetings
• Mentor students and contribute to the success of the economics program
• Support the community college philosophy
• Maintain currency in field(s) through professional development and scholarly activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics or Master’s degree in Business Administration with 15 graduate semester hours in economics
• Prior teaching experience preferred

Pay

Adjunct Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.
