About the role
The College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Economics courses including Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Personal Finance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course instruction
- Follow common course outlines and policies
- Utilize the CCBC learning management system
- Grade, critique, and evaluate student work
- Provide timely feedback to students
- Keep and submit accurate classroom records
- Communicate with the discipline coordinator
- Attend required training sessions
- Attend professional development and departmental meetings
- Mentor students and contribute to the success of the economics program
- Support the community college philosophy
- Maintain currency in field(s) through professional development and scholarly activities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics or Master’s degree in Business Administration with 15 graduate semester hours in economics
- Prior teaching experience preferred

Pay
Adjunct Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.
