Typical Duties
- Captures and coordinates ECO activities for new product introduction (NPI).
- Provides assistance to staff, customers, and/or suppliers to resolve problems resulting from the ECO process.
- Aids in the completion of ECOs by processing and validating product documentation, obtaining approvals, and inputting list of materials and product drawing information into ERP system.
- Ensures that documentation packages are complete and accurate, and follows up on completed ECOs to maintain accuracy.
- Maintains Bill of Materials in ERP system, verifies documentation for process metrics, updates re-quoted prices, and assists in managing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings regularly.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- One year of experience in an electronic production, planning, or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of electronic products specifications and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of general office practices and operations.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to respond to questions and requests from team, customers, and others.
- Intermediate computer literacy, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Basic mathematical ability, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Demonstrated customer service, problem-solving, and common sense skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
- Viewing computer screen/monitor.
- Utilizing keyboard.
- Answering phone/making calls.
