Echocardiography Technologist - Day shift

About the role

To render highly professional and technological performance of echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and/or transesophageal echos. Provides quality diagnostic and therapeutic care to achieve the highest standards of care specific to the age of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality diagnostic testing to patients and their families.
• Perform duties and conduct interpersonal relationships to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
• Ensure contacts with physicians and other customers display superior customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Background in related healthcare field (Cardiopulmonary or Ultrasound preferred).
• Two years' experience in an Ultrasound field preferred.
• Registered Ultrasound tech preferred; also prefer license by the state of North Carolina as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of VCR functions.
• Math skills.
• Anatomy and physiology of heart and related areas.
• Strong customer service focus.
• BCLS training required.
• Demonstrated understanding of patient care needs according to developmental stages for various age groups.

Pay

Salary range: $32.48 - $38.98 per hour (minimum to midpoint). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.

Schedule

Full‑time position, 40 standard hours per week, day shift.
