Echocardiographic Technician - Part Time, Day Shift

About the Role

This position involves performing ultrasound procedures to image the heart's structure and function in an outpatient setting. The technician collaborates with cardiologists to conduct examinations, evaluate findings, and report results.

Responsibilities

• Set up ultrasound equipment and prepare patients for procedures.
• Capture images of cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels.
• Maintain accurate documentation of examinations and findings.
• Maintain and restock ultrasound equipment and supplies.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with protocols.

Requirements

• Certified or eligible for certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or through CCI.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and Echocardiography certification.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, patient positioning, and data recording.
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff.
