Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures
• Perform routine and complex studies and assist physicians in various imaging procedures
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Education: Associate (Preferred), Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Work Experience: 1+ year experience in a hospital environment (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) [Required] OR
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
