Echocardiography Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and aid in patient diagnosis. Responsibilities: Conducts high-quality ultrasound procedures, prepares exam rooms, obtains patient history, explains procedures, assesses patient needs, reviews and evaluates test results, and ensures accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Monitors equipment safety, maintains supplies, transports patients, and participates in quality initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma, certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (with certification within 18 months if new graduate), and healthcare provider life support certification. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree and one year of ultrasound experience. Skills: Manual dexterity, strong communication, ability to operate complex equipment, physical stamina for lifting and patient transport, and attention to detail. Work Details: Full-time position based at a hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, with a 36-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $38.77 - $59.82. Benefits include a comprehensive wellness package.
