Echocardiography Technologist

Role Overview

This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and aid in patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Conducts high-quality ultrasound procedures
• Prepares exam rooms
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures
• Assesses patient needs
• Reviews and evaluates test results
• Ensures accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team
• Monitors equipment safety and maintains supplies
• Transports patients
• Participates in quality initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (with certification within 18 months if new graduate)
• Healthcare provider life support certification
• Associate degree (preferred)
• One year of ultrasound experience (preferred)

Pay

$38.77 - $59.82 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 36-hour workweek at a hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado
