About the Role
As the Echo Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. You will ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment, serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff, and respond promptly to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting.
- Act as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up on physician, staff, or patient issues.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
- One of the following certifications: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), RDCS-AE (RDCS Adult Echocardiography), RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).
- One year of experience preferred.
