We are seeking an Echo Technologist PRN. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible and accountable in performing procedures, and contributes to physician diagnosis. You will also drive key business improvements and results.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician order and review patient's cardiac history prior to the procedure.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Collect clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning.
• Ensure reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure.
• Maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography.
• Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• BLS certification.
• One to three years' experience.
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills.
