This Echo Tech opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Use ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle, and left atrium, and visualize blood flow.
• Assist the physician with complex ultrasound procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography, stress echos, and intravascular ultrasound.
• Perform electrocardiograms per procedure.
• Expand the scope of examination according to any abnormalities observed.
• Manage and operate ultrasound equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect ultrasound equipment daily to ensure it is operating effectively and report any malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• ARDMS or CCT certificate preferred.
• Specific experience and training in Ultrasound preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.
