ECHO Technologist

Role Overview

The Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for performing a full range of cardiac diagnostic tests, assisting physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams, and managing work flows in the echocardiography laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex echocardiographic procedures, including stress tests and pediatric echoes.
• Critique imaging quality, review patient data, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer contrast when appropriate and document studies and charges accurately.
• Cross-train in other cardiovascular services and participate in call rotations.
• Provide compassionate patient care and seek ongoing knowledge advancement.
