About the role

The Cardiology services at Wilcox Memorial Hospital are seeking an Echo Technologist to join their team. This position performs non-invasive cardiovascular studies and electro-cardiographic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular studies and electro-cardiographic procedures
• Employ state-of-the-art EKG technology and imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and appropriate patient care plan development
• Provide quality diagnostic services and professional care to patients
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• One year of college including formal coursework in anatomy/physiology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card

• Excellent technical protocol and patient care skills
