About the role
The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. This role is responsible for obtaining high-quality images, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established standards and protocols. Take great care of the patient, every day and every way.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography procedures according to established protocols (On Call Coverage Only).
- Obtain diagnostic images and measurements.
- Prepare and educate patients for procedures.
- Document examination results accurately and timely.
- Maintain equipment and ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Cardiac sonography credential or eligibility required.
- Knowledge of echocardiography principles and procedures.
