ECE Research Assistant F26 (Student Temporary)
Job Summary
A master's student in the ECE - Electrical & Computer Engineering Department is sought for assistance on collaborative projects. Research assistants will have the opportunity to work on faculty-generated projects. Students are paid bi-weekly at an hourly rate determined by the faculty project sponsor.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine research tasks, including library research; participate in group observation activities; administer questionnaires and conduct interviews; take part in experiments; collect, analyze, code, and tabulate data; set up and operate laboratory programming operations.
- Specific activities are dependent upon the faculty research.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the direct supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- At least an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field.
- Must be a current graduate student in the ECE - Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at UM-Dearborn.
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn new applications and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational and documentation skills for keeping track of data and multiple analysis steps.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, internet search engines, internet and mobile devices.
