ECAD Librarian (PCB / ECAD Technician)

Key Responsibilities

  • Library Management: Create, update, and maintain accurate electronic component libraries within ECAD software platforms.
  • Collaboration with Engineers: Work closely with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure components meet design standards and requirements.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure libraries comply with industry standards such as JEDEC and IPC.
  • Research and Development: Research new components and technologies, integrate them into the library, and keep the library current and relevant to design needs.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to other team members on library management practices and assist in the development of design tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of ECAD tools and software, skills in 3D modeling and basic drafting.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze component data and ensure accuracy in library entries.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication necessary for collaborating with engineers and other team members.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Perl for automating library management tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years; or equivalent work experience.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $57,800.00 - $98,300.00 Annually
