Responsibilities
- Teach laboratory sections of General Biology 1 for Fall 2026.
- Supervise and lead quiz and discussion sections.
- Grade class assignments.
- Serve as course assistant or perform comparable activities.
- Attend regular preparatory meetings with the faculty course coordinator during the semester.
Requirements
- Recent graduate of the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology graduate program.
- Five academic years of experience teaching undergraduate laboratory courses.
- Demonstrated expertise in general biology concepts.
- Mastery of foundational biology principles relevant to undergraduate instruction.
- Proficiency with standard laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Ability to prepare laboratory materials following established protocols.
Pay
$22,755 for a 75% position.
