eBike and eScooter Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electric bike and electric scooter issues, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing batteries, motors, controllers, brakes, tires, and other related parts.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and safely.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and adjustments effectively.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance on proper vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in e-bike and e-scooter repair.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve repair processes, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself, colleagues, and customers from accidents and injuries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an E-Bike and E-Scooter Repair Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of e-bike and e-scooter mechanics, electrical systems, and components.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various issues related to e-bikes and e-scooters.
• Familiarity with specialized tools and equipment used in e-bike and e-scooter repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for repair service calls).
