Position Summary

New Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a dynamic and student-focused leader to serve as Principal of Eastwood Elementary. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated staff, support student success, and shape a positive and high-performing school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead school improvement efforts to increase student achievement
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment
• Supervise and evaluate staff; support professional growth
• Oversee student discipline, attendance, and extracurricular programs
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district requirements
• Manage building operations and budget effectively
• Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (or related field)
• Valid Indiana Administrator License
• Successful teaching experience; prior leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
