Eastmont - Server Part-Time

About the role

This role is available for a Server position at Eastmont, located in Eastmont, Lincoln, NE. The position pays $15.50 per hour and works a shift from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with meal selection, including ordering from menu, buffet/a la carte item selection, and assistance with buffet stations.
• Present menu to residents, answer questions, and make meal suggestions.
• Record orders and relay them to the kitchen production area.
• Show knowledge of menu choices, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Deliver food to residents, providing assistance as needed.
• Clean, reset, and clear tables for the next meal service.
• Assist with kitchen duties such as salad bar, soup service, portion desserts, brewing coffee, or other services as needed.
• Monitor residents to ensure their safety in dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age.
• Previous server experience is highly preferred.
• 6 months or more of experience in long-term care, home care, or a related field is preferred.
• Software experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems is required.
• Effective English verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• May need to complete additional pre-employment screenings such as a physical and TB test, depending on state/local guidelines.
