Eastmont - CNA, Bath Aide, Part-time

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve as a Bath Aide at Eastmont, a skilled nursing health center in Eastmont, Lincoln, NE. This is a part-time position starting at $18.50 per hour (with potential for higher pay based on experience).

Responsibilities

• Make accurate chart notes daily on residents' conditions and report any changes to supervisor.
• Assist residents with bathing, use of facilities, oral hygiene, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing.
• Assist in serving meals and leading activities.
• Remain current with residents' and department's operations; check schedules and activities to assist residents as necessary.
• Record vital signs and conditions on a scheduled basis or as needed.
• Provide verbal and physical assists to residents during transfers/ambulation.
• Answer calls for assistance promptly and report any possible safety hazards.
• Maintain neat and clean work areas; ensure assigned residents are provided opportunities to participate in various activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training.
• A current CNA/NAR/HCA license in good standing.
• A current CPR/First Aid certification.
• The ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a background check.
• Drug test.
• May require other pre-employment tasks such as fingerprint, physical, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines.
