About the role

Order, collect, process routine and specialty testing, and return results back to the doctor. Obtain, process doctors' orders, and perform data entry. Provide excellent customer service over the phone, with patients, doctors, and other medical staff. Work efficiently under pressure. Adhere to clinic and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with computers and office equipment.
• The ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual is a plus.
• Must understand medical terminology.
• General Math skills.
• Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments.
• Organized, multi-tasks, and a critical thinker.
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well with others.
• Team player and flexible.
• Can work well under pressure and meet multiple and competing deadlines.
• Recognize and understand the complexity and reflex-testing of laboratory complexity.

Qualifications
